Holland Processing

Holland Processing finds its origin in the Dutch Provo movement where as former front man Luud Schimmelpennink launched the ‘Witte Fietsenplan’ (white bicycles free rental system). In 1968 the Witkar (white electric car free rental system) was launched, also in Amsterdam. Holland Processing was in fact the Witkar engineering company. Witkar, in fact, was the front runner for Greenwheels, Car2Go electric car systems all over the world. Witkar can only be seen in the Amsterdam Museum as a relict of the 60’s movement. Holland Processing still exists and in fact is the trade name for self employed Gerbrand Bas.
